My 2 reasons on why auctions would be good on here.
1. I tend to trust sellers on the forums much more than on eBay. I am more likely to try to buy here first, just because of the knowledge that the seller ususally has, and its more than likely not fraud.
2. Auctions are great for all of that left over crap in your garage that some builders, or new to our community members are looking for. I hate posts that have all of these parts that you have to look through, then when you find one you want it says "best offer" - or worse there isnt anything beside it. Why not just have a auction format for that stuff. I have a ton of stock parts just laying around that I would sell for 5 and 10 bucks here and there, but I dont want to create a huge post, and I may be lucky enough that some of these parts would bring double that in an auction.

IF A VERY SMALL FEE IS CHARGED, IT COULD ALSO DRAW IN SOME REVENUE FOR THE BOARD
