well my parents are kicking my off their insurance so to speak
i just turned 18 and own 2 cars
-1987 buick regal T package V8
-1984 buick grand national

i have 1 infraction on my record.. a no fault accident that nobody got a ticket for but im sure my rates will go up

what will i expect to pay for either car?

anyone young have a grand national and have to insure it themselves??

Why not just call around or
look online for rates.

I am sure they will be happy to quote you a rate.

I assume you are looking for everyday insurance.

I don't think the classic car insuance companies insure under 25

Depends where you live.

Im paying $1700/yr for a V8 83' Regal, I'm 18 with no accident record.

well i have been doing the online quote thing....
3000$ a year for the grand national!
1200$ a year for my t type with only PLPD (no collision)

i will have to talk to the agent maybe and say that the GN will be insured in the summer and t type in the winter
or just sell the ttype and drive the gn all year round!!

ahhh i dont ever want that to happen but it might have to :( :( :( :( (times 1million)

Sell the T-type use $$ to buy a cheap honda for the winter 6 months.

Use the GN for other 6 months

If it cheers you up any...your insurance will cut in half when you turn 25 if not more than half. It also drops dramatically when you get married too. Good Luck.

yeah but the t type will only get me like 2000$ and then i still have to insure the other car and the GN... aye aye aye...

yeah and only 7 more years for me to pay 4000$ a year for insurance... ahhh that would be like 30,000$ that doesnt help me out at all really!

I pay $600 for six months for my GN with full coverage from American Family.

Of course I live in Wisconsin where insurance is cheap!!!:D

Good Luck. If insurance cost that much here I wouldn't own a GN.
