an up to date appraisal good record of epenses and agreed value insurance
if they want it you're not going to stop them with any anti theft devices
maybe the local punk who wants a joy ride but not the kind of thief that targets these cars


lojack or gps it will still get stolen but would help locate if it does go missing but even those arent foolproof

they have some pretty inexpensive gps units available now. i believe escort makes one. that with just some of starter kill would be sufficient. you can track your vehicle over the internet ....pretty cool stuff.

thats a very nice option to have,but ive heard on here,tht some thieves went to great lengths to stealing a car and that was getting a towtruck.i hope they get caught

I got it on one of my vehicles and although it is relatively simple, it's pretty much fool proof. It's NOT an alarm, but rather a system which keeps a vehicle's from being started. It can't be disarmed by anyone else than the car's owner. No electronics, antennas, transmitters, no batteries to replace (or become defective) and doesn't have any moving parts either...Very satisfied with mine...:wink:

I had mine installed by an authorized Ravelco dealer on my vehicle while on vacation in south Florida two years ago, and it cost something around $300. (approximately), and I still think it's the BEST vehicle disabling system available!
