I had some problems getting it to run right w/ the alchy,so I disconnected it till I get it tuned for max performance w/ just 93 gas & then work the alchy back in.I'll be going to a 1/8 mile track probably next Wed. and will have it running on just 93 pump gas & BFG drag radials. The chip is a 93 JC chip.If I get at least a 2.0 60 ft,what should the car run with what I've got in my sig below minus the alchy?

Thanks,The Darkside:cool:

8.3 to 8.7 @ 82-85 mph.

With sticky tires, race gas and race chip, it should go 7.2's @ 94 At 22-24 psi of boost.

Kind of the difference between a stock LS1 and a modded LS1 with a 100 shot.

I ran a 8.5 on pump gas a few years ago when my only upgades were a K&N,a 93 chip,air bags,adfp & the 3 inch atr single shot on 235 60 15 street radials.I think my best 60 ft that day was a 2.1.
What 1/8 mile time would I have to get to equate into a 12 sec time slip in the 1/4?I guess that's something else I'm really hoping for this Wed.

8.3 can be a 12.9 depending on the mph. On high MPH vs. ET cars like F bodies 8.4 or even 8.5 could be a 12.9. With a TR, 8.3 @ 84 mph is close to a 12.9@104

The turbo, injectors and V4 don't really have an advantage over the stock turbo, injectors and stock intercooler at 17 psi with a street chip on pump gas. A TE44 and a V4 like 22-24 psi, which is why I posted the Race gas/chip numbers, mid 11's@116+ in the 1/4, tuned out.

12.9 would be about an 8.3 in the 1/8th. You can use 1.54 as a factor to get close. Also it seems you can add 18 to 20 mph to the 1/8th mph to get 1/4 mph. Mine was 8.4(84) and 13.2(104) in the same run.

Hey UNGN, nice timing on the simultaneous posts with approx. the same type info :D ---1:03 a.m. posts

Right now I'm running AC43 CRTS plugs. If I go to the track & tune it w/ the 93 & then decide to make some runs w/ 110 or 116 race gas, will I also need to change to AC 42's?
Also,if I put in the 110 or 116 gas, what boost level should I be able to raise it to to start off safely with? Will I also have to raise my FP?

That gives you too many things to do, Specially at a track where your prolly going to get 4-5 passes. Tunning Should be done a little bit at a time. Try to only change one thing at a time (Fuel pressure, Boost. etc.) to see what works and what doesn't work. Unless you know your car really good, you might drop in the 116 octane and change chips and everything else, and run a 9 second 1/8 th mile (14 sec. 1/4 mile). Yes, I am speaking from experience. .

With your mods, you can easily run 11's all day long. But it takes some time to tune the car to get it run those numbers.

Take care.

you have basically what Melissa has....its all about tuning....she's gone mid 11s @118 in street trim....then there are guys that supposeably "copied" her set up an ran 13s @ 104 ish.....again TUNING is where its at...:p
