ive got around $400 to spend on my 85' GN. what do you guys think i should add to it next? im thinking added traction would be a good thing, as ive already done most of the basics. any suggestions? my current mods are in my sig

BTW- im asking cause in about a week ill be running a buddy of mine at the track. hes got a 95' Z28 6speed with only a SLP loudmouth catback that has run 13.5/13.6s at 103/104mph. i wanna make sure i stay a couple tenths ahead :)

isnt that more like $600? i dont have that kind of cash right now

besides, i plan on running a bit of race gas on the day of the race and that would act like alky (detonation suppressant). a few gallons of leaded gas will be much cheaper than Razors kit. in the long run alky would be beneficial cause its obviously much cheaper to refill alcohol than topping off your tank with 110 octane every race. but im kinda looking for something that will give me an edge in just this one run

i wish i could afford a larger turbo or a good stall converter w DRs or something similar. damn im poor :(

anyone have an intercooler kit they wanna sell me for $400 :D

I believe the SMC alky kit was around 400, and he does Hot Air specific kits!!!

If not Alky, I would go with maybe a dump pipe, good tires, and maybe a cam in the near future!!!

I got my brother a 204/214 cam for his practically stock combo...He is building a mid to high 12 sec car, so all he really needs are the basic upgrades, exhaust fuels and all, and all the port work, with a cam to compliment them!

If you port out everything, might as well get a cam to open those valves up a bit more!!! good luck!!
