87 T 3600 lbs. 3.8 .020 over, 68mm turbo w/ I think a P trim & .63 Precision housing, ATR headers, Ported M & A's, Crane 212/206 billet roller, 3.73's w 28" M/T's

I'm going with a lockup for better mileage. I have an A/C 9" 3500 non lock in now, but I also have a Precision Vigilante 9.5 "0" pump Single disc that I may install. I don't know if the "0" pump will be enough stall for this combo ? Any suggestions ? ?

Thanks

I have a 0 pump here its going to be a bit tight, but i promised myself to never put it in the car again. I am not driving a car that sounds like its falling apart around NO more. Have a billet 9/11 in the car now 3400 stall seems perfect for driving around town and spools my 4 bolt 71 gtq quite well However it seems the lockup tends to slip at WOT more than the vigilante did.

the single disk vig makes no no noise any all but you shouldn't lock it up at wot. the multi disk vig is the one that sounds like marbles in the converter loud and annoying ...it does suck noise wise

No, I don't intend on locking the single disc at WOT, but I'm wondering if it will be enough stall with my combo (above)

it would be a little too tight 3000 stall .but if i were you i would send it back to precision and have it cleaned out and restalled to a #6 pump 3400 stall .they only charge about $225.00 ;)

Thanks Wickedtt
Do you know what all the available pump #'s and corresponding stall RPM for the Vigilante ? I thought the "0" pump was around 3200 ? ? That "6" pump sounds good and $250 isn't too bad I guess.

i beleive its pump#0 3000,#6 3400, #7 3800 ...stall speeds will be slightly differerent with each combo.its best to call them and speak with them direct.
