What to do with this Tranny? ??

I have a 2004R in the car. It is a stage 2 CK tranny, everything billit. My car has gone 10.69 @ 132 un-tuned and now is running close to high 9's. I am not in any way knocking CK since he is an Aweome guy to deal with but i just cannot seem to hold this tranny together. 1-2 is ok but 2-3 is a bad flare up from 6k shift to 6500 flare. The tranny only takes like 2 passes and its done for the 2-3 shift from a fresh re-build.

Now the question is, am i making too much power for this tranny (620-650 RWHP) ? Ive read on here about Vinny of Janis who does tranny's and have been holding together in low 10 and high 9 sec cars. At my power level should i waste the money shipping the tranny to and from his shop (im in NY) just to have it wipe clutches and bands again or is it time to go with an AOD or 4L80E ? Thanks alot guys? I REALY REALY am getting tired of pulling this tranny in and out.

If it is built with dual feed to 3rd gear--it should last more than 2-3 runs. What does Chris say? I have a 200 R4 in my car (bottom 10 and an occasional high 9). I have 20 plus runs on it. I also wonder how close I am to the limit. I drive my car so I never see me going to a 400. I also run more line pressure than some like (280 psi). Best of luck.

If his can't stay together....go with another vendor that has a tranny that lives in the 9's.

I havnt talked to chris lately. he is supposed to call me back today.

I talked to chris and he agreed that the tranny should not be wiping out like this. We are switching cores and going through it again. Lets see what happenes.
