SignUp Now!Do you have any proof of this? This is highly doubtful based on the numbers ive seen posted here and on other import forums based on the operating range of the engine. This claim is even more doubtful if the 65 wheel is in a 3 bolt Buick ex housing. You arent gaining anything on the exhaust side going billet. Still plagued by excessive backpressure. Id like this claim to be true. Please post the proof as related to the Buick applications including 4 bolted if you have it.FWIW, any billet comp turbo with the 65 exhaust wheel is making power like a turbo 5 wheels bigger and spooling like a turbo 1 size smaller.
Maybe a TA60 w/ .63 Garrett... stock appearing too.
I put in a 6157 with the .62 housing. It spools about the same as my old 49 with a .8 housing. My torque converter is a restalled D5 (about 2500 RPM).
Very nice for me, and it is stock appearing.
