Window washer fluid is way safer than straight meth and the other alcohols and you can keep it in your car for easy access. :)

Who is being cheap when I have yet to hear anything bad about washer fluid and know many cars running it with ZERO ill effects, including a 550 whp EVO8 on pump gas!! If there is not any horror stories about using it, then why is it so bad and people being so cheap for not thinking of a safer alternative for their motor? Water and Meth are a great combo, probably next best to straight Meth, sounds like a good product to me.

Add on that -40 below washer fluid can be found everywhere for less than $2 at any local convienent store for a quick fill up

And it can be stored in your car or truck without having to freak out about it spilling all over the place and turning your ride into a chem lab explosion

Forgot about the dye in race gas, great point. Alky kits use a fine mist, unlike liquid gas running through your whole fuel system. I bet no one will stop using race gas due to it having dye in it.

I say chill out till there is some real facts out there to stop using it. ;)

If the EVO your mentioning is the AMS car.. guess who's U-know-what is in it ;)

Listen the hostility, its not due to safety, its due to detonation control afforded. Totally different scenarios. You own a GN.. run them both.. post back which of the two you were able to squeeze more out of boost and timing wise.

If your goals are minimal.. lets say 22-24 PSI on pump gas with a stocker.. windshield washer fluid will get the job done. If your goals are 30 PSI.. fugedaboutit.

Is there anything wrong with 24 PSI.. not if thats your goal. But if your trimmed out at 29 PSI.. you go use 50/50.. you know what happens.

Get a bigger tank, Metco makes a 6.2 gallon one that fits in the spare tire area. No need to carry bottles around. Not even with a gallon do you need to carry.

Cheers

Have you plumbed any kits up with the metco tank?

Not yet.. There is a car.. but he's been slacking.. a certain vendor.. I wont mention any names.. but starts with the letter Weavy.. oops :D .. we need to finalize that setup.

Actually he holds the last three tanks in the country. Well two.. one is slated for his car.

I have one i'm trying to fit in the TTA.. ;)

Who do you think suggested to Martin to use your kit. ;)

Anyways, the blue stuff should be able to get me my 23psi on 93 octane I want to run.

.. many thanks Mike. For 23 PSI.. 50/50 should work. I guess from reading posts its tough to find methanol in Chicago. Unless 55 gallon drums are an option.

That EVO cranked out like 620 to the wheels at 34 PSI on C16, Martin is still dialing it in, at 29 PSI on mix it made those numbers.

Impressive for a 4 banger.. lets hope it stays together. It also runs a 5bar sensor

:D
