I am just curious, what would it take to turbo charge a 5.3 Chevy Truck?

Shane, a friend of mine put a t76 on a LQ4 6.0, then put it in a Regal. There are a few companies making the manifolds, kits. He's only going to run 8-10 lbs. of boost due to compression, but, plans on 600 RWHP. Sure it wouldn't be to hard!! BTW, I'll be at the TB nats. I'm going to look for ya!! Phil.
Might be sacrilege to say around here but the procharger kits are great too. Very simple and efficient. I had a Procharger on my C5 Corvette before building a turbo kit for it. It was an absolute blast to drive with the blower. No exhaust issues to deal with, heat, etc.
Either way is a great way to go. I think the blower is easier and if the goal is to pick up 100hp, that's the way I would go.
