84 T-type in '96........then another 84 T-type in '03. First one was totaled thanks to my brother hitting a tele pole head on at 55 mph.Second one was in pieces.Had to convert the 2 into 1 complete car! :smile:

I took delivery of the first GN delivered in St Louis in 1984. I had originally ordered an 84 T-Type with the Designer's package but my buddy, who was a salesman at Mallory Buick at the time, caught wind of the GN option in mid year convinced me to change my order. My cousin now owns the car...all original with paperwork and still in St. Louis. Since then, I have owned 3 other turbo Buicks over the last 5 years.

Kristi bought me an '87 T as a wedding gift in 1999. I had absolutely no idea and almost passed out when I saw the car's title in the card that she gave me on our wedding day.

I bought my 84 when I was 15. It had a locked up motor and my father and I rebuilt almost everything mechanical on it and got it running by my 16th b-day. That was almost 6 years ago and now I added the intercooled 4.1. Its the only car I have ever owned.

I bought my '87 WE4T in Jan. of '88. I was the second owner. The 1st owner traded it back in for a GN. I must admit that I was looking for a Mustang at the time when I found it on the used car lot. It had 5,500 miles on it. It now has 215,000 and is still my daily driver. I never had the engine open until the stock timing chain gear went out at about 185,000. I've gone thru the engine now and finally did some serious mods. I'm still in the tuning stages but just recently ran my fastest time ever. I've had several very nice cars over the years since then, Talon TSI-AWD, Grand Prix Turbo, Stealth R/T TT, and a SHO, just to name a few but I always end up coming back to my all black car.
