What's the range of rpm's for stock turbo?

Anybody?

I think Ive heard stock units can wind up to 40,000 plus rpm's, but at idle, both cold and hot operating temps.,what should be expected? I searched the Turbo Regal Web site and read that some operable turbos do not spin at idle. Mine starts out slow at start-up, then speeds up considerably.

So what might be considered normal? 1000-2000 rpm at idle?
