Where to buy PCV check valve?

So I just bought a PCV1162. If I blow on it from the small end some pressure leaks through. I was thinking it should not do that at all. Is mine defective?

Unfortunately the quality varies a lot these days, and some leak by. They used to seal up pretty well a few years ago.

Should I get a check valve and put it inline to be safe then? I bought this one to replace my AC Delco one that seems to stick open once in awhile.

Take the 1162 back to AutoZone BuickMike, it's defective. Exchange it for another one. Be sure to give it a blow test before you leave the store as I've found you may need to test a few before you find one that seals. I've been running these for years without issue. If you've got a catch can installed, then also install the Kynar (PVDF) 3/8" check valve (US Plastics) , in line to prevent your catch can from pressurizing during boost.

Well, I went to 2 different AZ's to find this one and it was the last they had in the state. They said they can't get them any longer.

Also, O'Reilly has it listed as a Microguard PVC275. I cross referenced what cars these came out of. It looks like the one to look for is a 1992 Mazda MX-6 GT with a 2.2 liter turbo.

Update. AZ found another PCV1162 and it leaked as well. We looked it up by vehicle and found that the new Luber part number is PCV1138. I grabbed one of those and it was fine. It is the exact same size. It sealed up nice for boost and regulates less air than the AC Delco I have now. I wonder how my BLM's will look. Not that they are an issue now.
