which are the correct WE4 hood markings?

In my quest to get as much info on the different turbo regals available before I decide which line I purchase, I have noticed some descrepencies with what people call WE4's, which is the car I am leaning toward. I have noticed many cars advertised as WE4's have the buick hood ornament, and a plain black grill. Some others however have no hood ornament, and the silver Buick logo on the black grill. How was this car originally marked?

ok thanks makes sense. Maybe the ones I'm seeing with the hood ornament are simply Regals with turbo and T package... and owners/sellers just don't know the difference.

You're best to just get a pic of the trunk tag with WE4 on it.
I have seen at least one documented WE4 with the hood ornament. There are a few factory oddballs floating out there.

By and large, a WE4 should not have a hood ornament BUT I have seen one or two cars where they were supposedly factory original and came with the hood ornament. Other than that, you've got your standard turbo hood emblems, your Turbo T fender emblems, Buick on the grille, turbo 3.8SFI on the trunk, and Buick on the trunk as well.

In fact, if you check with Jon who runs or used to run buickwe4.com, I believe his car may be one of those WE4's with factory hood ornaments.
