Personally, I dig the Road Runner look :D . And should you in the future decide to make it a hemi clone  , 'twould fetch alot more bank than anything the Cutlass produced in that year. Or am I wrong?

in the eyes of the beholder, early lesson in life that I learned ,you learn something new everyday........

Depends on if it's a real RR.. Is the Cutlass a 442 or just a Cutlass.

If a real RR vs a Cutlass, then RR all day long.
If you pass on the RR, please send me the info.
Thanks!!

P.S. I've got a 72 GS455 I'll sell ya for $5k less!

Not even a question......gotta get the Roadrunner......doesn't even matter what motor option it has........383?....440?......if the car has a 440, you should kick your own ass for asking such a question....lol :D

If the cutlas is a 442, I would say the cutlass. I love those cars personally. The road runner is a great car too. Go with 1ARUNEM a gs 455 for 10K isn't bad, and you can still take it to buick events :)

'68's were either 383 or Hemi.

The 440 wasn't available until '69 and was then only in lift off hood, 6bbl form.

in '70 you could get a roadrunner with a 440 4bbl.

The '68 RR is the better choice.

You even had to ask?

If you had to ask, you don't deserve to buy the Roadrunner. Give me the seller's name and number and I'll buy it.

A Cutlass or a Roadrunner?

Sheesh....

Get the Bird, (My first car)...

in '68 it came with a 383 and a Hemi (Back when the Hemi was a Hemi) , If it's black and you don't buy it, let me know...I will :D More than likely a 383, Hemi's were scarce.

RR even though it is a BOXY & S-H-T-T-Y riding car will command more resale value & go up quicker in value

The Cutlass probably is a better riding car.

Just buy both

took the words out of my mouth.. I can't tell ya how many times guys have swore to me that they own 440 rr's (non lift off hood cars) .. never made em.. 440's were GTX's

This is true. The cutlass will probably ride and drive better, but unless its a real 442, the RR has more appeal to the musclecar collector.

PS: 383 RR's aren't that fast (mid to high 14's), so don't expect to challenge any T/R's with it.
