For what it's worth, my blacked-out-black Turbo T has a build date of 10/86 and last 6 digits of 414549, difference of 50739 from last VIN.

Right, only 20,193 grand national packages were built. But altogether the same drivetrain number of vehicles is the sum of all the turbo-t's and gn's and the like with the turbo 6.

Anyone know how many Grand Nationals were produced in December of 1987 only? Since the last one made was 12/11/87 I'm assuming not too many were made in December of 87.

I have a blacked out 87 t also, 11/86. Glad to see 2 of the "200" still are around!

I don't think the vin's went in order. My car was built in the third week of July 1987 and my vin ends in 445991.

I have 2 1987 G/N's one starts with 423 and the other starts with 459. And I have the factory invoice for both showing they are Grand Nationals!

Oh I think that was the only thing they were making, the high dollar, highly optioned late build GNs
