Which Race Fuel?

On the 10.66 pass, it was crowding 40 psi. My 35 psi gauge, when calibrated, was actually a tad over 36 when reading 35. The wastegate puck was binding, not allowing it to fully open, causing the higher than normal boost. Coming back to the pits and fixing the wastegate put me back around 35 psi and I ran back to back 10.78s. I try to launch with 12-15 psi.

I just ordered a drum of Track Tek 118. I got it for $327 and $25 delivery. These guys are cool.

I thought I'd test drive it. The motor octane is 116.

Oh Yeah, I posted earlier that the Rocket Fuel was Citgo, but I was mistaken. It is Union 76. Also, I was told that the Track Tek is Phillips 66.

what about trueblue 110 gas. they have that at a phillips66 near my house, its 3.75 a gallon

Hey Kendall I found these guys out of Macclenny. All of the fuels they carry are sold at a wholesale price. I'll give you their # if you want it. You probably already have a good connection though.


quickbrick thats a good price and convenient too. Motor octane is probably around 104-105. I'd "load" up on it.

With the high price of the high octane gas has anyone tested the use of the new alky kits with 100 or 110 octane gas? I know here in the Northwest we have a racer who has run 10.1 on pump gas or 93 octane and alky injection. Would steping up to 100 or 110 octane gas and alky injection allow you to run into the 9s safely? I am assuming its not very safe if people still spends 8 bucks a gallon when they could use the alky kits instead?
