Just looking for some opinions on which turbo would fit my setup . As follows i have 60lb injectors , rjc power plate , comp cam not sure of the specs , reds 340 +hotwire , 4in. mas air pipe , precision fmic , 3000 pro torque converter . 3in downpipe with an external gate , single shot , stock heads/intake. Bottom end has main studs , steel caps arp hardware and cometic head gaskts. What do you guys think about the 6776bb or a turbonectics bb .

Sorry to spit out all that info at once but your opinions are aprreciated

What size cam? Might want to find out. Roller? Flat Tappet? Specs?

A good all around turb could be the 6152...A 6776 would be a good choice though too.....

turbo

call Holly at Hartline she helped me with my next new turbo convertor combo.

Ya im undecided between between a cpt66bb or a 6776 the precision sounds like it has some real good street manners . And i dont hear to many complaints about lag seeing alot of guys are running it on stock h/c. What extras are needed for a 6776 besides water lines ?turbo saver ?

Listing your goals would help. I don know how any one can rec without knowing the goals of the owner of the car. Only the BB 6776 needs water lines. The journal one does not.

Sorry for the double post im looking for low 11 's potential for high tens . Sorry i was vague i have a some decent stuff done already i dont have heads as its not in the budget right now . Im looking for mid range to top end power i dont want a lag king down low either . Thanks for any opinions

62/62 ball bearing would be my choice. If you wanted to run 10's id go with a 62/65 BB. You wil have to run it hard to get those numbers with stock heads. like 27+psi. You will need a good converter though.

actually im going to go with a set of champions ported irons . seeing my stall its in the 3000-3200 l/u range. The cars been in the shop for a while sorry i dont know some of the exact specs . What do you think my choices are know seeing the heads will be on looking for mid -high tens without pushing it to 30lbs of boost . Would a cpt66 grant my wish. what are the diffs between the 6776bb and 66bb ?

Not much difference between the 2. 1mm larger compressor on the 67. Thats it. They both have the same 76 trim exhaust wheel. The 6776 is replaced by the 6765. I have the s-trim version of the cpt66 ball bearing and i hit 133.4mph at 3600 lbs. It would go 9's if i pushed the car a little harder and 60' better. Boost was 28.5psi.
