Was going to ask about that one...I was in Sears a few weekends ago and I noticed they sell their own brand of what looks like a Battery Tender for like $29.99...is that the one you have? How well does it work for you?

I have 2 of those, one for my GN, one for dads Limited. I check on them once a week out in the detach. Never had a problem though.

CTEK Multi US 3300 12V Smart Battery Charger

This is the best charger for different needs, vehicles and batteries. There is a
choice between three different modes. The low-current
mode (the motorcycle icon) is perfect for smaller
12V batteries such as motorbikes, lawnmowers,
jet skies, snowmobiles, etc. The higher current mode
(the car icon) is for automotive or marine applications
with larger batteries. Finally, an additional
winter mode (the snowflake) is specifically aimed
at charging and maintenance in cold weather. It is
also perfectly suited for Optima Red Top batteries

I have a Battery Tender Plus. I have went through 2 Schumacker chargers and they suck and don't last and are HEAVY. The Battery Tender Plus works awesome. I put it on the GN for the months I don't drive it with my Optima. Never a problem. I put it on my wife's Jeep when she leaves the lights on (about 3x a year) and it charges it up no problem. I put it on my lawnmower and no problem. I even used it on my friend's battery that was DEAD DEAD DEAD due to a light being on for a like a week and it charged it up and is still working. I had a bad battery (old Interstate) that would not even take the charge and the Battery Tender told me. I highly recommend it.

I will admit that the Autometer charger looks cooler though

Autometer Battery Tender here. Been working great for 8 years. I mounted it on the wall, so I can glance at it every so often. When the battery is charged it has a green light I can see from across the garage.

Deltran Battery Tender Jr. user here.

I have one on the GN, 2 sleds, 1 PWC, 1 riding mower & 2 quads.

Peace of mind knowing my toys are gonna be ready to go when I am.:)

Deltran Battery Tender for my Buick and a Tender Junior for the Harley. I take out the batteries in the winter a leave the Tenders on them. I like them because they don't overcharge and the green/red light system is idiot-proof.

I agree, if the car is going to sit, just unplug the battery. That is what i have always done and had good luck.
One less chance of the car catching on fire too :)

X2, I just unplug mine and plug it in when I'm ready to go. Been doing this for several years now with no problems or need for a tender.
