WHO is this "WEBER" character ? (CAMSHAFTS)

I am seeing the buzz words , WEBER GRIND< or 206 weber grind, WHO IS WEBER? IS he a famous camshaft maker, does he still work for COMP CAMS ?

I used to buy weber cams from old man Weber, he made cams for aircraft to Briggs Straton,I used em in my drag bikes, and my pro gas Nova he knows what hes talkin about!
not sure if he's still doing them, but were one of the best around back when..........

So, I am still confused, DID this guy design or specify a (SPECIAL GRIND) of turbo buick camshaft?

A 206/206 WEBER GRIND , MEANS ?

THAT he SOLD THE PART, COMP cams makes this cam for HIM EXCLUSIVELY< OR WHAT?

yup thats him.as far as I know Comp makes a "webber" grind for him.

Dave Webber

Webber Racing has been doing work for Red Armstrong for 10+ years. Red and Dave got together and designed some cams they are sold by Webber but not exclusive to him. Webber does have his own thrust set up unique to cams from his shop. Yes that is what "buick speak" for a Webber cam is, one designed and sold by Webber Racing. Hope that helps. Dave

I just ordered a 206/206, timing set (gear an chain, billet of course) and heavier valve springs and it came out to $355 Hopefully the parts will be worth the cash eh??

You will like the cam. Thats the one i run, its a good mild cam.
