I have just bought one to carry when we are at our cabin , I saw a few snakes this past weekend and to say the least I'm terrified of them . I figured 3 " number 4 shot will do the trick but I was gonna see if anyone here has had better luck with another .410 ammo . Thanks Keith

I'd think #6 or 8 would give better pattern density. W/ a snake, only one pellet, and most are done for.
