Not saying you don't know about cars.

On the TT website there is an order form. On this form you enter your combo and desired boost level, alky, converter, etc....

You can change the chip to accommodate more boost. When you change stuff such as converter, turbo - the chip would better re-burnt to the combo.

Join the forum on TurboTweak. Ask questions directly. No one knows more about that than Eric.

I think you will get the answers you are looking for from him.

And don't worry - if you give him the right info, he knows how the car is going to react to it.

Again, the desire to run more boost in a car that isn't tuned right seems to be a priority to you. We are just trying to keep another TR on the road and another TR driver happy.

Whatever the best fuel is that you can get from the pump. Burn the chip for that fuel and alky.

Here I can get 93, chip is burnt for 93 and booze.

What's cool about Eric's chips "Turbo Tweak" is he can re burn the chip to meet your new combos needs as you build the car.

i ordered erics new chip and the kit from razors

i got a connect like 2 blocks away who sells it by 1 gallon to the drum

one gallon five bucks pure methanol (:

im not new to this car stuff nor tuning been doing it my whole life

im not like a kid that knows nothing about the car and you guys keep telling me just be careful dont blow it up knock and too much boost dont rush into it

There's a reason for us telling you this. Because we care. And we want to ensure you're getting all the info you need to make it work.

If we didn't care, we'd all tell you to just crank on the waste gate actuator to your hearts content. It would get you more boost than you already have. But then you'd post back with "how do i change my headgaskets" or worse "why did my engine blow up?"

I'm 10 + years older than you and became a turbo Buick owner a short year and a half ago. Before that all I ever knew anything about was small block Chevy engines. So I asked the same questions as you and got the same answers....never once did I take offense or feel like anyone was making me dumb....I just took it as I was a "baby" having to "learn something new". Mind you I'm still learning but I've already learned quite a bit.

By the way you've been posting, it appears that you're not familiar with tuning a turbo car, especially a turbo Buick. Hey we've all been there, and we're all here to help one another. Don't take it personal, we want you to enjoy the car, not enjoy having to fix it all the time.

its not gonna run 12s on 17 psi unless you launch the hell out of it and dead hook. The Te44/open exhaust appear to be the only power gaining mods you have. The other mods help it make its power, but at 17 psi you are maybe making 20 more hp than a stocker at 17 psi. What are your scanmaster numbers looking like? Id throw alky, and a duttweiler neck on it and run 24-25 psi. That would put you solidly in th bottom 12s. Right now its probably a 13.3-13.5 car.

The million dollar ? that has not been answered  What are your scan master #'s ??? The 1st thing you should do is to make sure your car is ready for alky and such... Not trying to be a kill joy, alky is great, but it's possible your not happy with the performance due to things being off kilter. If you haven't already make sure there are no issues and then go for it!! You said it yourself you don't want to cover up a problem with another mod

do you drive around with the dump open all the time? You sig makes it seem that way. Close that thing up and run the numbers.
