why is my map unhooked? extender chip

i bought this 87 gn two years ago and wondered why the map has no vac signal sent to it. the origional owner says thats what full throttle told him to do. chip is extender extreme ls1 maf, adjustable waste gate and runs like a scalded cat, a little fat but never stumbles or hiccups. anybody know whats up?

The map sensor only controls the boost lights on your dash, I would plug it back in so you don;t have a boost/vac leak, causing high blms at idle.

thanks for the response. i have a vdo style dash with boost gauge and no open vacuum leaks.
