Nice. Looks like its all contained in one unit. I have the SM-AFR tied into my ScanMaster and PowerLogger.

I did have to drill a hole in my floorboard, to run the wire for the sensor. I didnt feel like taking the pins out and possibly messing it all up. Where I drilled it is in such a position that leaks should be minimized. The frame rail acts as a splash shield. But my GN is a 100K car so I wasnt too worried about it. And I now have a easy way to run the wiring for my electric cutout.:biggrin:

Thanks I will be testing it tomorrow to see how well it works.

For now it's temporarily installed....thinking of trying to use a tach mount and mount it so it and the Scanmaster sit in front of the a/c vents, one atop the other...unless someone can think of a good home for it as opposed to just sitting atop the dash.

Just mount it to the right of the console. No need to have in constant view.

Ok...was thinking it would be wise to mount it in eye level view so i could keep tabs on it during boost and such.

I did find this template for a tach mount on our sister site and thought it might be a good idea...

The wideband came with a little stand that bolts to a hard surface and can be bent to a 90 degree angle.

Can you buy just the mount for the tach? If, so who can i get it from Scott?

The result of mating a GNS tach bracket to the M-300's bracket. I even used it as a new home for the Scanmaster.

Does the PLX M300 also interface with powerlogger? I have never looked into the M300. I might go this route.

I believe it does interface with a powerlogger.

But then again I see you have a Scanmaster...I've been told Powerloggers come with the chip needed to make the Scanmaster read wideband readings.

I only went the route I did because I don't have a laptop yet.

I was where you are now several years ago. Jack Cotton suggested I sell all that stuff and buy a FAST. He was right, it didn't cost that much more and I had a system that I could work with! Just buy a used Classic Fast for well under $1,000 and tune that sucker!!!
