That's what appears to have happened to my brother. NOS bottle was at least half full, but 2 years old. Plenty of pressure but car bogged and died (over rich) when button was pushed.

Opening tank valve resulted in plenty of noise, but the valve didn't even get cool.

Does NOS chemically change into a different gas over time??

Thx, Bob

Sounds like your bottle just leaked out over time. The N2O will stay N2O!

The pressure was still there, but alot of N2O was probably lost and what was left was mostly gas. You can have plenty of pressure, but no liquid left.

So, when you hit the throttle, you got mostly all N2O gas and no N2O liquid. The fuel jets then supply way more fuel than you need and the car runs big time rich.

If you take the bottle out and weigh it, youll probably find it needs a refill.
