will an LT1 MAF fit into the stock MAF hose?

My Translator and LT1 MAF are on the way and I just wanted to know if it will fit into the stock air inlet tube and my 14" ATR K&N.

I think it will. I bought a LS1 meter off of a guy, and it seems to fit in there. It's pretty tight, but it fits.

The LT1 MAF is 3 inch outside diameter, and will fit the stock MAF hose. The LS1 is approx 3.5 inch outside diameter. Since I have a solid MAF pipe, I used a 3-3.5 inch silicone step hose(for my LS1 MAF).
