I hear ya, every year the winter gets harder to put up with. We havnt seen much snow here in Ohio, but the gloomy freezing cold weather sucks.

i gota get outta this state

I know how you feel. As I get older I find I can't stand the cold. I now know why old people retire where it's warm.

A few weeks ago we got back from a vacation in Mexico. It was 80 degrees in Acapulco. I was sweating one day and shivering the next. (Metaphorically speaking, since it took us 5 days to get home.)

I want to retire in Mexico...hell the whole country is empty, they're all up here. :D

Yeah and im only 40, hate to see my sorry butt in 10 more:frown:

I used to tell myself that I wouldn't appreciate warm weather as much without having to deal with a few months of winter, but I'm starting to doubt that. I could easily appreciate nice weather 365!

Ya Ohio sucks to live in born and rased here! One day it snows the next it will send a monsoon that will flood 3/4 ths of the state. I had 3" of water in my garage 2 days ago. Thank God for wood 4x4's. Then if your lucky it will be 50 out then by night it will hit 0. We ohioans need a new part of the country to live.

If I told you about our recent weather trend you'd hate me.

But I feel for you. Sorta.....

Go for it :p You NC people got to be having good weather buy now we got at the least 6 more weeks of this cold and nasty crap left

Yes it was in the mid 60's and mid 70's this week....I think I saw a high of 79.

Of course it's starting to cool off and get cold again.

That's one thing I will miss, is the mild winters we've had in the 8 + years I've lived here.

Didn't do jack today. Zero with -30 wind chills! High for Monday is 12 with, you guessed it, a few more inches of snow just to make driving a pain in the butt. Back to the 20s and 30s later this week, it'll feel like t-shirt weather compared to this.

I wish I could just sleep until April.

ya i wish i could too.It would be nice. I would be as happy as a bug in a rug but without the vac. cleaner running.

Man I wish I didn't have to bump this thread back to the top. 3-5 inches of snow heading for Chicago. :( I thought the worst was over considering we had recovered from the sub-zero temps and were sitting around 35 degrees for a few days. Now more snow and 22 degrees this Wednesday. :(

Sorry to hear that. No sorry enough to wish we could share your pain though :D .

Here it's been in the 40's all week and one day in the 50's. At night it does go down to below freezing but last night it stayed right at freezing so that will help considerably with continuing the thaw and melt today.

42* outside yesterday, got 5-8 coming today. I thought the lake kept Chicago warmer in the winter? Wind probably doesn't help much;)
