Ok, i just bought this Autometer tach. Which wire going to the coil pack do i need to tap into? Any help would be great. thanks

If its a 5" monster tach, the green wire is going to be your signal wire. White is light, red is 12v power, and black is ground.

Found this from a previous post

It is the white wire coming out of the ignition control module. This is circuit 121 it is marked with an “E” on the socket assembly connecter that plugs into the ignition control module. This same wire also travels up to the front of the engine and has an open spade conector just behind the AC compressor. As bilt2run stated earlier this wire has a green connection on it. You can get your tach signal from here for it is also circuit 121 and very easy to get to.

Its just a small mini tach but has the same color wires as you stated. I just need to know where to hook up the green signal wire to. It shows a tach terminal for electronic ignition in the directions? Thanks for the reply.

OK cool didn't see the last part of your post. Thanks i'll check it out.

Tach install couldn't be simpler on these cars. For the red and white wires, I put male spade connectors on each, white wire to an open INS (instrument) terminal on the fusebox, and the red to an IGN terminal on the fusebox.
