WTF?! Extra Wire Running Between MAF & MAP Sensors.

Why the heck would someone run a direct wire between these two sensors?

Would this account for my always maxed out factory boost gauge?

<I am under the distinct impression that this is some really old tuner trick from ~1990ish>

That wire was ran to install a DFI in the car. I wire needs to be run from the signal wire of the MAF to the signal wire on the MAP
Disconnect it

Well she was a racer... hmm. I guess I'll cut her out and leave enough to go to DFI later

Kinda wish that I didn't solder in the wires. D'oh!

I guess I'll see if it fixes the boost gauge when I get home.

I forgot to mention that the MAP sensor was missing from the car... that might explain a bit more about this. Good thing I had a spare...

Gotta call the previous owner... I guess that he'll have some questions to answer.

It is strange finding stuff laying all over the place.
