I was tuning today without the alky and my o2s were 850 yet I had 7* knock. Is this possible? Can it be false knock? Can a rich condition cause knock and if so is it as damaging? Thanks PS. I do have a walbro, afpr, and all basic mods.

update Kid was 19 y/o and had the bike for 1 week. No wonder. His girlfriend and about 10 of his close friends saw it all happen. Went to the crash scene today at light. He hit a 5x8 ft concrete slab. Broke the thing damn in half. No blood, not guts just a clean quick death.

Why bother when installing the afpr takes about 10 min. MAX and is adjustable for tuning. If you are running anykind of chip you need the f/p turned up anyways.

Save that $110.00 and buy a afpr. Its very easy, the only time you will need someones help is when you put the tank back in. Dont get into the routine of having someone else install stuff because it will get costly and your knowledge wont expand.
