So far I've acquired the following parts.
Pt6262 sp cover
10" PTC LU 3200 stall
Precision FMIC
206/206 cam
60 lb injectors/ adj. fpr
Razors alky kit
3" downpipe
New fuel pump
New timing chain
New valve springs
Running MT ET streets

Still have stock heads and I know that a good port job or some champion irons are holding me back.

Total street car, but no AC.
I know this turbo had been 10.50 on an unopened engine so could I push into 10.90's with boost in the high 20's and stock heads/ driver out of the equation? Or was his 10.50 like a freak engine...

Have someone setup the springs that's familiar with that kind of work ,make sure all grounds and ignition components are good, and have it professionally tuned. It should hit the number with boost in the high 20's in good air. Low
30's in bad air.

Thanks bison your always the first to answer my newb questions when I ask! I see a lot of people with that turbo running numbers that don't make sense to me, I believe I even seen a 12.2ish one day?? Eek! That's to much money to spend on stock numbers. Hah doesn't exactly ring "how fast do ya wanna spend"...

Takes more than a turbo to run a number.

like a 10.90 car with a 12.2 driver...not that i know how to drive:(..i don't even race but just saying:)

you will need to get the car into the low 1.5 60 foot times maybe a 1.55 I went 10.80s-10.60s with a TE45a, stock lower end and a 212-212 cam with ported irons matched with the intake and stock headers.50 LB injectors....the 3200 stall is the wrong converter IMHO.I would go to 3500-3600RPM but Im not familiar with that turbo either

theres alot of them out there. Its more about capability to some (me included). Im not ashamed to admit im one that doesnt frequent the dragstrip, BUT i still like to have capable parts and a proper tune so its there when i need it on the street!

whehhh i hope one day, my car could break those times. My turbo and converter combo was recommended by mike at full throttle. Im not exactly pushing for these times this season, BUT next season for sure....

you have a powerlogger?
once you can gather data, then you can determine what you need to do.

Sounds like you need to look into the suspension aspect of it next. I.e. rear sway bar, rear control arms, springs, shock, braces, etc.

turbo inj matched converter an acouple suspension parts with a decent tune and u should run 10.80's atleast

I had cheap lake wood 90/10's on the front 50/50 rears old atr sway bar metco lower control arms an adj uppers hooked like a dream...

next thing to worry about is rear axles when u get in the 1.5 an lower 60fts

I still have yet to dig into the suspension, But the car had tubular control arms/ eaton 3.23 posi and moser axels w/a 5/8 drive stud kit when i found it. I would be too stoked if i hit a 10.90 ha, just a whats it take. Sounds like im kinda close the more i pick from this site....

I don't think the combo is far off. 3.23 gears might make it a little tough to get quick 60' times, but my experience is with a 3.42. motor is probably fine to get there. Rebuild the drums, get the front end to rise decent and put a cheap body mounted bar on the rear and give it hell. Light burnout so the brakes don't heat up like crazy. Drive it a lot. 10s easy.
