I know nothing about these cars. Is this model rare? Think it's worth that kind a money? Said the paint job was backyard quality.

They are not easy to find. Usually the 2 door you will find is the 2 door sedan not the coupe. What kind of car are you trading? I would look at it real close. First thing I would do is See how those seats are mounted . I have seen people use 5/16 bolts with 5/16 washers to mounts seats. That car probably came with a bench seat. looks like it still is a 6 volt system. Its a cool car for sure. I would get more info and pics. with a crappy paint job That car is probably worth about between $6,000-$8,000. It depends what you like . Original its not. So if you want it original plan on spending a few grand to find the parts and then repaint. I m not trying to pick it apart but 13k is a lot for that car.It does say obo but he isn't going to drop $5,000. good luck

My $.02...
First, he says only 5K left, and only 12k ever made. Then, he says parts are "easy to get"??
Check the resto forums, and see what's available for body panels, trim, etc.
$13K...Not sure I'd do that.

Pretty cool.
X2 on checking parts availability.
I started a project on a 60's car that I though had a lot of aftermarket support only to find out that only certain years and models had the support while the other similar models were forgotten about. Makes a project much more expensive if you can't get the parts.
