1/2 slide shift use to be firm, 2/3 shifts still extremely positive, 3/4shift positive also. Accelerate and overdrive flare. Any ideals?

Accelerate and overdrive flare??
Does this mean 1-2 slides/slips worse or 3-4 shift flares?

Possibly 2nd/Intermediate Band, Servo problem or 1-2 Accumulator problem.

You cant get a 1-2 flare. In order to get a flare you have to be releasing something. You cant be in 4th and 2nd at the same time either.

2nd gear slips and won't hold under throttle 1-2 slide shift use to be firm 2- 3 shift still firm 3-4 shift still firm

Your description is confusing...

Bet the second gear band is done if your 2nd gear doesnt hold and the 1-2 slide shifts

The band and drum are likely toast. It's possible the servo lug on the band is blown out
