Lower air dam. That's what that molded fiberglass piece is for.

is it the flex hose you want a measurement of? Received the part and its a cool setup despite most people can't stand them, restrictive etc.. Seems fine for an 11.5 street car? Would like to find a filter with same dimensions but w/ 4" mouth (filter in kit is 3") anyone know if there is a replacement?

Thanks Scott funny was searching earlier and it led me to the s&b site, will probly go with one of those, one of the posts I dug up someone did that replacement and made a world of difference, KB filter seems to be an issue..
