here is a picture of what it will look like. they built the downpipes using my old one in these pictures. hope this helps. mine has a hole in it for the use of a wideband so disregard the bung. it will fit with the a/c and its more then you will need. o and if you want to get real crazy you can easly set it up for a external gate.
one other thing. my 5 dollar rattle can held up better then my jet hot coat you see on the up-pipe![]()
so now that you have them made brian, you want to sale me mine back![]()

stainless option? so i guess you got my DP ok then?
We will get some up soon. It is the same Pipe I worked on with mease back in 2001. Just found some one else to do it.
2 sold so far. That is why we only are building 5 or 6.
5 sold & 1 waiting in the wings if some one backs out. Problem is these are being built the same time we are getting the 86-7's so there have been production delays for both.
So I received the down pipe last week and attempted to install last weekend. Alright, so this is one clean pipe. Smooth bends, clean welds, truely a good quality pipe.
But people, whoever said this thing fits with the heater box in never mentioned the serious heat shield modification involved.
The heater box heat shield is shaped so I can't pull it out from the top or bottom. So I took a hammer and beat the crap out of it on the car until the pipe fit. Well, if you consider bolting it up but rubbing still, I'm done. Unfortunately, I don't.
Next step is to take it all apart, beat on the shield a little more and try to make it fit. I'm looking for at least a 1/2" clearance.
Thanks Brian!

I am trying to install with the motor in. I had to cut the old pipe out, impossible to remove intact. The old pipe is double walled?!?! That's like a 1 3/4" I.D. pipe. This new pipe is going to make a world of difference!

For fun, I started it and enjoyed the sound of "open headers", then shut it off before it got too hot.
