Dynomax VT...I just installed these on the Pypes system instead of the RacePro mufflers. Sounds great and there is NO drone. I took TurboBob for a ride in the car after the install, he likes them too.

Is it church mouse quiet with these mufflers? Are they not restrictive for a turbo car?

It is not church mouse quiet but still very quiet. The DynoMax VT mufflers have a spring loaded valve inside of them that opens with pressure. They flow quite well when you go wide open as the valve opens fully. The valve helps the sound waves stay inside the muffler at low rpm and cruise. I am very happy with my choice. I dont know of anyone else that has installed them so I took a chance, they have a sound guarantee so you can return them. Here is a link to them.

I have thought of putting a small (1/4") hole in the test pipe cap, and perhaps putting a small piece of pipe (1/4" I.D. x a few inches long) in that hole to let the high frequencies out, but not the low ones.....

The three mufflers are all ultraflow stainless.

B

Bob you ever try this to see if it worked?

I don't have a test-pipe/cutout on the car anymore, so I can't try it.

Hey can anyone shoot a video of their car with the 3 Muffler exhaust system... I just ordered the dynomax welded cross flow that was stated in the thread.. I'd just love to get a idea of how it will sound?! maybe some in car footage if you live in a warm area.

Thanks Justin

I have used two sets of the VT mufflers and have blown the valves out of both sets. I am moving to the Magnaflow VT mufflers at this point.

Got the System installed today... Works great, Sounds like a stock car and did not effect performance the car has no drone at all. In fact the car is so quite the drive train is the loudest thing on the car now. It cost me about 300 Canadian to get this installed. My exhaust shop guy did top notch work.

I'm going to install a muffler tip with that heat treated blue color on my ride. Gotta keep up with the Hondas...:wacky:

Which would win ?
Quietest, lighter and performance .

Single 3 inch with 3 straight bullets VS standard dual system with 3 mufflers ??

We installed a pr on my bud's 33 roadster. The rattles started immediately. They came off, Dmax turbos went on. Summit refunded the price.

With this 3 Muffler exhaust I feel like the car has not lost any power and that was even with a cat installed as well
