I am about to swap out my 64/66 for a HPT 68/70 for my 4.1 stroker, looking for atleast 700rwhp, is it a goog shoice?
Making 590 rwhp today.

Exhaust leaks can spring up at any time..ask me how i know : / 26 is about where mine stopped with a JB6766

Havent check the backpressure no sensor

Need to look at it to see where the system is at.
If backpressure is low
Then your not driving the turbo hard enough.
We use co2 on the external gates to achieve this not manifold pressure.

590whp on a dynojet could be
590/.85 = 694hp crank
(11% dynojet and 4% converter)

You got the dyno graph, what was timing and total boost, 25psi and maybe 18 degrees?

Only 25psi seems off, can you post a picture of your wastegate setup?

Like Spool stated you might need to bail on the 64mm.

My old car made 682whp with the HPT 6466 at 29psi. Ran out of wastegate spring. Turbo showed no sign of slowing down

The first thing that comes to mind is that exhaust pressure is forcing the wastegate puck open. You should be able to find a spring at the local hardware store to increase the pressure forcing your puck closed. Drill a hole in your actuator bracket to attach one end of the spring to then remove the clip on the swing arm and install the other end of the spring in its place.

Also OP, what springs are in the WG?

That's because they are only good for about 20psi over base on manifold and some gates come really low like 7psi.
