What is the 85 manifold good til? Basically at what point does the 85 intake need to be improved? I'm looking for a fast daily driver not a race car. I doubt I would need anything less than 12's. The car has rebuilt motor, 15K on trans, 25K on H.D eaton posi 3.73 w/ richmond gears, waste gate 19 lbs boost tps tech throttle enhancer, cold air kit w/ 9" K&N air filter, 36lb injectors, new radiator, forged aluminum pistons, high volume oil pump, new water pump, starter, creamic coated headers, 2.5: mandrel bent hooker exhuast, heated 02 sensor, upgraded fuel pump. I have an intercooler for it to add and at some point would like to add a ta33 turbo. To give me an idea, what kind of times might I get with that setup?

Realistically-No. Check my mods and I am really only a low thirteens type car. I need some drag radial tires and a final tune on 93 octane and might get to 13.0 in the quarter. Race gas and drag radials and more boost and I could do the twelves but that is not my goal. I am final tuning and will call my finished soon. Let me know if you need more info. Brad

To answer your first question, a stock 84 manifold will get you into the 12s for sure. Don't know how far it will take you past that as 12s were as far as I tried before I ported it. A worked 84 manifold will take you as far as you want to go.

With just the intercooler, chip, and filter, I went 13.9@101mph at stock boost levels with the stock turbo. Upgrading the small stock turbo makes a pretty good difference.
