Anyone have any expiriance with the 4.0 inline 6's??? I been having a stumble/bogging problem when i give it gas in park and drive!! I would rather find someone that has had expiriance with the Jeeps before laying down the whole problem scenario!! So if anyone has had expiriance with these please let me know, Maybe you can help me out...
TIA

Does the problem go away when you go to WOT?
If it does, chances are pretty good that the O2 sensor is bad. I've fixed two Cherokees with the same problem. The O2 voltage goes up over 1 volt, and the computer sees it as an overly rich condition, and starts to pull a bunch of fuel out leaving you stumbling and popping until you go WOT and put the fuel system back into open loop.

I do have a bad downstream 02 sensor.. but it didnt act like this before I changed my stock muffler and put a super 40 on it... I checked all the sensor's, tps, map, cps. all of em. their all in working condition.. no vaccume leaks nothing.. And no when it stumbles and if i go WOT it will jus die hard!!! I hafta let go of the gas,, and gradually and i mean gradually get into the throttle.. Im thinking a weak battery or a bad ground could be causing som kinda of mis- fire. bc at times.. it doesnt have any problems..like yesterday it ran fine for over an hr with no problems.!! But today.. with it raining.. ugh the worste Ive seen yet.. Plus While it was acting up inmy driveway the Volt meter was at 14v, and when it was acting up it was falling to almost 0v..to like 2 or 4v. but when its not stumbling or stuttering shes back at 14v.. So when it stops raing Im going to check grounds and connections.. maybe take my battery to one of the parts store to take a Load Test

After further inspection today.. Jeep runs fine at certain times.. but.. we tested the fuel rail to check the fuel pressure and it was strong and so was the odor on the gas... Smells like bad gas.. hope I can figure it out as the jeeps my hunting vehicle and its about to be go time around here!!
