I'm sure Mike was referring to either billit or ductile :) But I've seen pics of a couple that had been made into lamps :D

I use and sell plenty of s/p 204/214 and 214/224 cams and so far not a problem

that is with using either s/p or gm lifters

as far as rollers the only issues have been with comp cams lifters ... that goes for flat tappet cams also comp lifters are junk in my book

comp could also cut the lobes alil narrower on the dutile cams since the way they are now they are mighty close to smacking the next lifter over

An old one revived! FWIW, I put in a new flat tappet cam this past spring with new 75lb valvesprings and have had great results. Multiple 11.6 to 11.9 passes and over 10k street miles. It's the best street setup I could imagine without going to drag radials all the time...

Over 9 years with a Comp 210 - 210 roller cam with fantastic results! Car idles nice and runs super strong!

Comp 264HR 212 hyd roller, over 8,000miles, decent idle, and does great for the setup I'm running.

"Baby Roller" still running great. (204/204 with .480 lift using 1.65 T&D's)

I may step up a little if I ever get my new shortblock built.

(my old car used to eat flat tappet cams, so I haven't put in a flat tappet cam in MANY years.)
