ac dryer bracket finish?

I'm redoing my GN's engine compartment...I'm trying to figure out if the bracket the goes from the evaporator case to the dryer clamp is painted or natural...It seems to have a grayish cast to it..I'm going post a pic as soon as photo bucket goes back online

Natural finish, maybe zinc. Mine has light surface rust here and there but mostly raw steel.
