I have the SMC alcohol kit.Steve said it is best to have the pump covered with alcohol so it does not dry out.Since I live in Pa. my car is stored for the winter.I checked it 4 weeks ago and the tank was only 1/4 full.I had filled it up before storage.I refilled it and taped the hole on the cap shut and it now stays full.Bruce
