Anybody get the Danbury Mint '85 GN yet?

Just curious if the car has the subtle differences that set it apart from the 86/87 IC cars.....

- one piece front air dam
- no 3rd brake light
- fan shroud
- turbo plumbing

I know they gave the earlier T/R releases some extra detail and would be disappointed to find out that the above items were overlooked.

I'm on the fence on whether to get this car or not because I've never paid that much for a GMP car (the 300 Club cars are an exception).

i got my danbury mint catalog the other day and it was in there.

i will probably order it after i get back from bowling green. im trying to hold onto my extra cash till then!

Just looked at the Danbury catalog online; the air dam is split. Can't tell on the third tail light......

Thanks for the link/pix but those shots don't provide the crucial details.

AFAIK the only way to obtain this car is thru the Danbury mint itself or the Philly Mint Diecast Store (same price). My local GMP "wholesaler" isn't providing me with any additional info.

i got 2 85 gn and they are exactly like the gmp released 1/24 buicks(of course gmp is making them for and to be sold by the mints. i would not pass these cars up, but they dont have an inner custom box just the white outer nice design box. oh ya when ya buy the 85 gn you get to order the 86 burgundy t type if you want!!!!! cya

You're all caught up.

The '85 GN and '86 Burgundy T-Type will be exclusive Danbury Mint releases made by GMP.

I ordered both the Philly and Danbury Mint cars and haven't gotten either yet. Can't get them on the phone either so now I am a little worried

What is the item #....didn't see it online.
