i looked on the website and they list front pads for an 87 regal for $40, part number:18026296 . can anyone verify that this is correct? ive ordered the wrong thing from there more than a few times and i just want to be sure. im also assuming that they are the delco pads. ive had really bad luck with the aftermakret crap

This really doesn't answer your question, but if you want to consider something besides stock, I've added Morse Ceramics from Autozone for about the same price, on two cars with stock rotors. Much better stopping and hardly any dust. You can also get calipers for $15 each after trade-in and front stock lines for $11 each.

ive heard they were good, but the fact is any aftermarket pads wear out and warp your rotors faster than any factory made pad. im just sick of recutting and replacing rotors

Part Number 1#12510011 was on the last box of GM pads I bought.

That is one item the dealer or GM Parts could have a million different parts for since they probably fit tons of cars with that brake system.

Not sure if the last set was GM Parts or from the local dealer.

Used them for years on salvageV6 and they work great in MHO, worth the $40. :)

thanks salvage6, im sure there the right ones. there are probably a few different part numbers because of the many applicaitons. ive heard nothing but good things comeing from using factory pads

If you ever need to talk to somebody about the GM parts you need, go to this place and call the phone # The parts guy there is real good. www.partszoneonline.com
I have bought a lot of stuff from them even for my 81 suburban, when the local GM dealer told me certain parts weren't available, Jim fixed me up. Even shipped parts directly to my body guy to save me the trip to his shop. Good people to deal with.
