I guess for $95 it aint too bad. The tailpipes exit under the bumper though which I can't stand on a GN. Also only 2.25 and the bends look very restrictive. What does a Hooker cat back go for these days. That is your best bet.

Thats what im really looking to get, but i dont have the 290 to spend right now, being a poor college student and all. i ve looked into used systems, but everyone thats tried to sell me one is trying to sell junk.....

dumb question is it for a GN or a n/a regal we just pulled the exhaust off of my n/a regal if the shop still has it you can have it for free and I will be in PA this weekend in the Poconos

Thanks for the offer pnyklr, but its for my gn. i appreciate the thought tough

Email the company and see if the make a bigger system. Who knows they might have a 3".

Make sure you get good mufflers

I had a budget local muffler shop system on the car when I got it and it was super quiet.I have a cut-out so that made the BS exhaust tolerable.Anyhow what happened was I completely gutted the mufflers out with nothing but boost and then they wanted to clang around on the pipes the used to be welded to shortly after that! This was in about 3k-4k miles. To tell the truth, with a 44 on the street and regular 295-50's I made more power than I could put down going thru that quiet exhaust. At the track is another story, but you could always unbolt it at the convertor flange if you needed to.I say get the cheap exhaust and get some decent quality performance mufflers to go with it and you will be suprised how well it works.I agree with the post above about it exiting at the bumper .

Get the pipes bent out the sides and be done with it. I like my monte exhaust on my GN well enough.

Keep in mind that putting on a new system is not exactly fun. I would hold out for the Hooker. I know all about being a poor college kid, I put together my GN when I was in college. Slow moving project to say the least.

Maybe look at Mike Litch's 3" Single shot? You could prolly put one of those on your car for about $200 I'm sure it would be a performance gain over the one you have listed.

If I had to I'd wait....... just think you'd regret doing it.

Just my 2 cents.
