Hey Guys,
Anyone here custom bend 3inch tubing?
I have a pattern and need a new MAF pipe made. If not, anyone know a shop that mandrel bends?

Mike at fullthrottlespeed used to offer a do-it-yourself pre-bent piping for such. Might give him a callor even Mark Hueffman @TRCustoms.

There's a few muffler shops around the country that do a true mandrel bending with out crushing the pipes Donnie. I did a search for mandrel bending on searchalot.com and found them. I know 1 of them is in Houston but that might be a little to far away for you.

Doubtful I'm deep into the lsx build but I have a stock uppipe laying around if that would help for a template?

I'm building a MAF pipe without a MAF, so it needs to go all the way to the core support opening by the driverside headlight. Im running a new front mount so my up pipes are new.

Hey Rob,
I'm only running a 45a on this new engine. Brian knows a guy with a 67HPQ that may be an option later, but that's still a 3 inch in. I know a 66mm is very small on what's is for all purposes a TSM engine, but it's a streetcar. I'm shooting for low 10's on a safe tune. It will be more then capable of a 9 if I were to go with the 67.
I've been told I could run the 45 wide open and it still won't fill the motor, but I'm ok with that...for now.

The intake is getting Vapor deposition coated...Endura Shine. It will look chrome.

Well, the guy who is doing it hasnt started advertising yet. My powdercoat guy got me in. Hopefully by spring he will be ready. I only have a contact name right now and do not know the actual shop where its done. My powdercoat guy has had several rims done and they look incredible. The chamber isnt very big. I think he said 24x24x24. He also said he cannot do tubes, like a MAF pipe or intercooler pipes.

I promise I will post pics and the shop name as soon as he tells me I can.
