anyone know how to dismantle gm column w/air bag?

93 t/a. Got the airbag and steering wheel out of the way, but how does the rest of the crap come off? I'm master at pre-airbag colums but this has me stumped. I got the normal tools for the job just need an explaination of how to do it. The turn signal lever fel apart and me trying to get it back together without taking the thing apart made it worse. Need help asap, its my driver!

there is a clip (complete circle)on the "clock spring" air bag/ yellow round contact(same type clip you will find on the steering lock plate deeper into the column) once you are past this, its the same as all the gm columns.

I noticed the clip but what about lining the arrows up on the cap? Do I press the whole thing down, line up the arrows, then pull it out ?
