I bought a griffin once when I was in southern ca. what a waste of a LOT of money! They have what's called a very dense fin count (more than 17fpi fins per inch). They might be great for circle track or other high speed cars, but they suck for a daily driver. The high fin count doesn't allow good flow through characteristics at all.
Oh, and the oil cooler fittings were wrong.

hello; I tend to agree with TurboDave. I got one fairly recently with claims it was the best and made in the US. Since the install I've learned the product is not totally made in the US (as in the past) and it didn't cool as good as told to me and it was not cheap. Another thing I have a pod temp. gauge and it's off a bit. I use a OTC from time to time and it showed a diff. of aprox. 10 degrees. I'm keeping it as I spent the money and am going to box in the rad. and deal with what ever happens.
