Anyone using the Microsoft Surface Pro 3?

It uses Windows 8.1 Pro. I can't get mine to connect to the XFI box using the USB to Serial com ports? I've switched to every com port and it doesn't connect. It worked with my older laptop which is amazingly slow. I don't know the brand of the USB/Serial cable.

Might have better luck running a virtual machine w/ xp on the surface pro? I have virtually 0 experience with either, so it's just a guess

I use a surface pro 3 with no issues.

I'd like to buy a Surface Pro 3. But I always have problems setting up communication with XFI on every computer I have ever had. I'm computer stupid. So let us know what you do right out of the box.

Once someone sets it up for me, I'm good to go.

I bought another Serial cable and it worked fine.
