BA Intercoolers: Anybody have one?

This is the best time for an FMIC in the Turbo Buick community. Everyone has stepped it up while keeping the prices in check.

I could of sworn someone had the BA 5" core and had a slight spool up issue, which would be expected. That is the main concern IMO for us smaller turbo guys, the volume of the core. The BA 4" should be plenty for most street/strip guys 10's and slower. I think it was $850 with the 3" pipes which is a great deal on a FMIC that has temps barely over ambient at the end of the track.

We have contacted BA about becoming a vendor on the board. Haven't recieved a response yet.

I am dynoing mine tomorrow with a BA 5 inch.
I will hook the dyno up to the turbo side for boost and match it to my XFI
I dont have a way to get before temp right now

The dyno has the abilty to control the time of a pull.So i can make an 8sec pull/
Not sure i wanna do that to my new motor...............Yet

I have some information from Mark and BA that I will post.

Intercoolers will begin in three application sizes for boltin installation.
#1 BA = 28x18x4 w/ 3" alum tubes.
#2 BA+1 = 28x18x5 w/ 3" alum tubes.
#3 BMF = 28x18x6 w/ 3" alum tubes.
All bolt in in 30min with an empty front end with only 2 bolt holes to drill.

Hey John, do you know what the hp rating is for each piece? At what level would I need the 5" or 6" piece? Also is there any prices that can be attached to these coolers?

This is a shot of the TSM legal BA cooler on Jim Romes car from the front.
